The remote training planned as the part of our project entitled: “Managing revitalization and involving the local community in the implementation of revitalization programs” took place on October 14, 2022.
The aim of the training was to familiarize participants with the challenges – organizational and substantive – faced by those who are responsible for managing the process of formulating and implementing the revitalization program. We also want to present practical solutions and the ways to deal with these challenges. The participants learned about the formal and practical conditions for the implementation of revitalization programs on the example of Poland. The training was also an inspiration to learn about good practices related to the implementation of revitalization programs on the example of Polish cities.
The training program covered the following issues:

The idea and main principles of developing and implementing of the revitalization program

Managing the revitalization implementation process, division of the tasks and cooperation between stakeholders

Social participation, stakeholder engagement, partnership, cooperation with the media

Conducting monitoring, reporting, evaluation of the revitalization program

Preparation of projects, coordination and complementarity, investment process

Domestic and foreign examples of activities in the field of implementation of revitalization programs and inspirations.
The training was attended by 20 representatives of the local government of Leova, as well as business and social societies. It was conducted by 2 trainers from Poland, experts in the development and implementation of the revitalization programs in local governments in Poland and experienced in conducting international trainings.
We would like to thank our partners from Moldova – Leova city authorities, who helped us in recruiting participants, organizing the training space and providing the refreshments and technical service.
